If I could give ZERO STARS, I would have. While I do like Mr. Submarine....I do not like THIS Mr. Submarine! It has got to be the filthiest, most poorly managed Mr. Submarine in the tri-state area. One look at their filthy, pot-hole ridden, broken sign, broken speaker Drive Thru, I decided to leave. It is a total joke, and I can't believe the city of Oak Forest doesn't make them clean up. If it looks this bad on the outside, I can only imagine what the inside looks like. Oh, did I mention the filthy windows? Keep driving.....to the one on 147th Street in Midlothian, or the one on Cicero Avenue in Crestwood.

Majority of the time your sandwich is made wrong. The drive through is horrible and the young kid who works there is rude. Mr Sub is a great sandwich shop and this one gives them a bad name. Go to the one in midlothian instead good food friendly service.

the nasty subs are horrible and if that's not enough the cheese on the fries was just absolutely horrible as if it might of been spoiled!!!

Good fries. Good sub sandwiches served with that yummy Italian style dressing. Prices are just right. I'd rather hit the drive thru than eat in.

I've only had Mr. Submarine's namesake sandwich. They sell two for $6, and each is cut in half. So really, it's like four sandwiches for $6. Alhough they're tasty, they pack lots of bread and not much meat. Mr. Submarine definitely beats Subway, but I'd rather have Jimmy John's or a real deli sandwich. I do appreciate, however, their old-school decor. This place hasn't been updated since at least the '80s, and that aesthetic beats the crap out of modern sandwichs shops'.

Worst Mr. Submarine I have ever gone to. The worker came out of a dark back room, with a hood up like he robbed the place, didn't put any gloves on to make our sandwiches, who knows if he washed his hands, I highly doubt it...drink machine was unplugged and the place was pretty dirty inside. I hope I don't get sick from poor hygiene.

Great food and that's all that matters! Everyone complaining about the way the store looks or the drive thru really?!

The food itself is good, I've never been disappointed with my sandwiches or anything else on the menu. If the stars were based on food alone, I'd give this review 5 stars. But the thing that knocks this down a few stars is the price and customer service. The price I feel is too much. Yes, it's worth it, but if I'm in the moss for a quick sandwich, I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it. The customer service on its own, gets less than 1 star. The two teenage kids that work there, (not sure if they're still there I haven't seen them in a while), have the worst attitude and simply don't care about you or their job. The number one thing they did that absolutely drove me crazy is whenever I ordered via the drive thru, they would tell me to drive around and turn off the microphone after I would say one thing..... Most of the time I'd order more than just one sandwich, but he wouldn't even ask is that all. The other older guy, who I assume is the owner/manager, is much nicer and worth going to. Hopefully he fired the other two kids because they were horrible for his business, and I'm sure there's other reviews saying the same thing about those kids, I haven't read any others, but they were that bad. Anyway, if you REALLY want Mr. Sub, I would strongly suggest driving 5 mins away to the one on 147th street in Midlothian. MUCH better customer service and everything is at least $1-2 cheaper on the menu.

First off, let's talk about the drive through. If I drove anything bigger than a sedan, my car wouldn't even fit. It's THAT narrow! The drive through sign may as well have been crafted by kindergarteners too. The punk teen in there wouldn't give me a cup of water, even though I was purchasing a sub. He LIED and said they don't have running water!!! So I pulled up and threatened to report them to the board of health (to see what he'd say) and of course, he all of a sudden had running water!! So I pointed to the soda-pop machine (fountain drinks) and told him there's two white knobs that they dispense water from... You know what he told me? Are you guys ready for this one? He said they dispense TONIC WATER! What, are they making cocktails back there?! ID BELIEVE SO BECAUSE THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE AND THEY PROBABLY ARE DRUNK!!!

I really like Mr. Submarine but this location has to be the worst one I've been to. The sandwiches seem like they have less meat than other locations and the service is mediocre at best. Communication gaps have cause my order to be incorrect on more than one occasion. I'll go to the Joliet location from now on.

Their subs are great hot or cold. I love their bread. Their french fries are of the shoe string variety. The kind I love and they are always cooked to perfection. This place is a guilty pleasure of mine as I will be coming back.
